Let’s dive in.
Honey is delicious, but now the studies even prove you should use it.
“The authors found that honey lowered fasting blood glucose, total and LDL or ‘bad’ cholesterol, triglycerides, and a marker of fatty liver disease; it also increased HDL or ‘good’ cholesterol, and some markers of inflammation”
Two years ago, they didn’t believe there was a chance of finding a medieval shop at the bottom of this Norway lake.
Now they believe they’ve found exactly that. How cool that our ancestor’s artifacts are still put together for us to find? This makes me love writing and blogging that much more.
If we all continue to leave our digital footprint, our ancestors will find it. Make sure that’s a good thing, like this cool ship, and not a bad thing.
Dickie put out a great tweet this week, wanting to know what newsletters everyone enjoyed the most.
He then used a notion template to curate the most mentioned all in one place. There are a few on here I read daily and you should too:
“Remember it’s good to be nervous. It means it matters”
Let’s finish out the newsletter with this great quote.
This week, I was nervous about my Zwift race. Two of the best riders on our team were out this week, which meant I had to pick up the slack. Before the race, I had a deep knot in my stomach.
I knew I had to perform. The championship points were getting close.
I got my first podium ever and gave our team 5x the points of everyone else. I saw this quote a few days after the race, and shook my head “yes”.
This quote is great for more than racing.
Nervous about a business idea, or taking the leap? Good. It means something to you.
That’s all for the Shiny Object Saturday. If you enjoyed it, share it with your friends!
I would appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
I’ll be back in your inbox with a company deep-dive soon. Have a great weekend.
